Planeta Moldova – Valera

The song “Intre patru scanduri” of Ermetic, posted here, reminds me that “Valera” have in common something with the tracks from the post “What do these tracks have in common?” published by Minha Galera.

Secret Archives of the Vatican – Dubstep meets Arabian and Persian music

Last week I was put to a test: find oriental music that sounds really really good. I am not a big fan of the levantine in terms of music, so it was quite a challenge. Luckly, Last.fm came to my rescue as usually and I was able to find lots of interesting approaches to this [...]

Elsiane – Bringer back of memories

I am glad to see that I haven’t reached that stage in my life where I say: “They don’t make good music as they used to back in my days.” Elsieanne Caplett’s voice is organic, like she’s the one actually raising the hair on my body, while Stephane Sotto’s drums torture your perceptions. Silent Strike

Silent Strike is Ioan Titu, a young talented Romanian artist. Here in Romania, you can easily count someone’s talent by the number of important openings for big artists. Silent Strike opened for most of them, so he is kind of making this a trademark. There are lots of other Romanian artists, but what I noticed [...]

Iamx

The big discovery of the Sziget Festival 2007 was for me IAMX. Extraordinary voice of Chris Corner (British charming guy from former Sneaker Pimps)…perfect showman with the most dandy look I have seen in a long time…minha galera took our hands and said ”u have to see this”…we did and it was great!

Erik Sumo

Many artists who came to visit and concert in our country have made the mistake of saying: “Good evening Budapest”. The public would naturally disagree in any way possible as our capital is, even if no one cares, Bucharest. However, no matter how much I love my country, I must admit that Hungary is a [...]
